The NJSO's funding from the State of New Jersey is in jeopardy in the Governor's FY09 proposed budget. These funds are key to the Orchestra's continued presence statewide and cannot be allowed to be cut dramatically.

Through the auspices of ArtPride, the entire arts community is reaching out to members of the legislature, encouraging them to seriously consider the multiple benefits of supporting the arts, most notably the impact of the arts on the economy of the State.
