Field Trips to a Concert Hall Near You!
Concerts for Young People (CYP) is the core orchestral program for elementary- and middle-school audiences. Formalized in 1948, the concerts are annually attended by more than 20,000 New Jersey students and educators. The NJSO performs these programs at five venues throughout the state, creating a wonderfully interactive and educational orchestra experience.
Reserve your tickets now! Please click on a time and date below to place your order. If you have questions, please call the Coordinator of Education and Community Engagement at 973.624.3713, ext. 254, or send an e-mail.
Tickets: $7/student (one free adult ticket with every 15 student tickets purchased, plus $10 processing fee)
To ensure that your students get the most out of the concert, you will also receive the Teacher's Resource Book, consisting of leveled pre- and post-concert activities that address the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards.

The big game is on—meet all the teams of the Orchestra and cheer on your favorite! Will it be the strings, brass, woodwinds or percussion that wins the day? “Take Me Out to the Ballgame,” Olympic fanfares and classics from Mozart and Mussorgsky will make it feel like you’re sitting on the third-base line with a hot dog and your favorite beverage. |
