The NJSO appreciates all types of support, and there are many ways to contribute to the Orchestra.
NJSO Comprehensive Campaign
The Orchestra has embarked on a visionary fundraising initiative—the NJSO Comprehensive Campaign. Campaign funds will be used to invest in operations and increase the size of our endowment, deepening the stability of the organization. To find out more about making a gift to the Campaign, please click here or contact
Nicole Kagan, Vice President of Development, at nkagan@njsymphony.org or 973.735.1720.
Volunteer
As a volunteer NJSO Ambassador, you can assist the NJSO in bringing the power of music to others and support the Orchestra in its mission to enrich lives through music. Our volunteers play a major role in sustaining and growing the NJSO by cultivating patrons, building audiences, generating positive word-of-mouth and raising awareness of the NJSO in their communities. Projects include greeting fellow patrons in the concert hall, assisting at special events, calling patrons to thank them for their support, promoting performances in your community, assisting with pre-concert activities for kids at Family concerts and general office support.
If you're interested in becoming an NJSO Ambassador, complete the application form below or, for more information, contact Renée Pachucki, Senior Director of Patron Relations, at 973.735.1722.

Crescendo Society
The Crescendo Society recognizes renewing Symphony Friends and Amadeus Circle donors who increase their gifts from the previous season. Increase your gift by 25% or more over your last year's total giving and you become a new member of the Crescendo Society. If you are already a member, you need only increase your gift by 10% or more in subsequent years to maintain your status. All members will receive an invitation to our annual Crescendo Society backstage reception.
Matching Gifts
Many companies match philanthropic gifts made by employees, their spouses and retirees. Your company's matching funds will not only make a substantial difference to the Orchestra but may also upgrade your membership level and benefits. Some of the companies that provide matching gifts include Johnson & Johnson, IBM, ExxonMobil, Prudential, Merck and AXA; contact your company's Human Resources department to find out if it participates in a matching program, and simply indicate your matching gift on our downloadable Annual Fund Membership Form.
In-Kind Gifts
Gifts such as old instruments, sheet music, office supplies and furniture or business services are gladly accepted. To find out if you have something the Orchestra could use, please contact Brittany Lavalleur, Manager of Individual Giving, at blavalleur@njsymphony.org or 973.735.1730.
Endowment Gifts
We welcome gifts of any type—whether by cash, stock, pledge or bequest—to the NJSO endowment. Contributions to the endowment will help sustain the Orchestra you've come to know and love for many generations to come. To find out more about making an endowed gift, please contact Nicole Kagan, Vice President of Development, at nkagan@njsymphony.org or 973.735.1720.
Tribute Gifts
The NJSO welcomes gifts made in memory of someone's life or in honor of a major life event for your favorite music lover. Donate online or download an Annual Fund Membership Form and send it back to us or contact Brittany Lavalleur, Manager of Individual Giving, at blavalleur@njsymphony.org or 973.735.1730.
Stock Gifts
Donating stock to the Orchestra is mutually beneficial for you and the NJSO. By making a gift in this manner, you avoid paying capital gains taxes and receive a deduction for the stock's full fair market value. To set up a stock gift, please contact Nicole Kagan, Vice President of Development, at nkagan@njsymphony.org or 973.735.1720.
