Judy Lin Wu

JUDY LIN WU is currently enjoying her sixth season as a first violinist of the New Jersey Symphony. Before joining the NJSO, Ms. Wu was the associate concertmaster of the Hong Kong Philharmonic.
A native of Taiwan, Ms. Wu entered the pre-college division of the Juilliard School in New York City at age eleven. She received her undergraduate degree from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and continued graduate studies at the Juilliard School.
Ms. Wu has performed as a soloist with the Hong Kong Philharmonic, the Houston Symphony, and the Wichita State University Orchestra. While attending Curtis Institute of Music, she was selected to perform in a series of chamber music concerts with its director, pianist Gary Graffman in several cities in the United States and Europe.
Ms. Wu's teachers include Rafael Druian, Joel Smirnoff, Margaret Pardee, Fredell Lack, and Gerald Beal.
Ms. Wu currently lives with her husband and twin boys in New Jersey. |
