Sarah Seiver

In cellist Sarah Seiver's varied professional career she has performed with Bono at Giants Stadium and with David Byrne at Irving Plaza, with Luciano Pavarotti at the Atlantic City Convention Center and with Mark Coffin at NYC's Town Hall. A member of both the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and the American Ballet Theatre Orchestra, she has performed and recorded with the New York Philharmonic. Sarah can be heard on movie and television soundtracks and in television and radio commercials as well as on records by such artists as the RZA, Lou Reed, Marisa Monte, and Linda Eder. Sarah was a member of the orchestra for the Broadway production of Titanic and the recent revivals of The Sound of Music and Nine.

Sarah graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Harvard University and a Master of Music Degree from The Juilliard School where she was a student of Leonard Rose.

Sarah lives in New York City with her husband and daughter. She plays a cello made in 1790 by Thomas Dodd.
