Sarah Seiver
Cello
 

In cellist Sarah Seiver's varied career she has appeared with Bono at Giants Stadium and with David Byrne at Irving Plaza, with Luciano Pavarotti at the Atlantic City Convention Center and with Ute Lemper at Town Hall, and as a concerto soloist with The Philadelphia Orchestra at the Academy of Music and with the Boston Pops at Symphony Hall. Sarah can be heard on movie and television scores and in television and radio commercials as well as on records by such artists as RZA, Lou Reed, Kelly Clarkson, Marisa Monte, and the New York Philharmonic. Sarah was a member of the orchestra for the Broadway productions of The Story of My Life, Cry-Baby, The Woman In White, and Titanic and the recent revivals of Bye Bye Birdie, Les Miserables, Nine, and The Sound of Music. Sarah is a member of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and the American Ballet Theatre Orchestra.

 

Sarah graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Harvard University and a Master of Music Degree from The Juilliard School where she was a student of Leonard Rose.

 

Sarah lives in New York City with her husband and daughter. She plays a cello made in 1790 by Thomas Dodd.
