ERIC WYRICK, violinist and Concertmaster of the NJSO, began studying the violin at 4 years old and entered the Julliard Pre-College to study with Dorothy DeLay at the age of six. Wyrick's first professional orchestral position was with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic at the age of fourteen, and his first concertmaster experience was with Christmas String Seminar with Alexander Schneider conducting.

 Before the NJSO, Eric lead an eclectic career which included among his credits: Artistic Personnel Coordinator and frequent leader of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra; Concertmaster of the American Symphony Orchestra, the Bard Festival Orchestra, L'Opera Francais New York , and EOS Music; Assistant Concertmaster of the New York City Opera Orchestra.

 An active chamber musician, Wyrick can be heard frequently with the NJSO Chamber Players.

 Wyrick has made solo television appearances in the American Playhouse production of Andre's Mother, the Dance in America presentation of Chausson Poeme for American Ballet Theater, and as appeared as a featured soloist, playing Mozart Concerto K.219 in the BBC's Great Composers Series, with Orpheus, on PBS.

 In addition to his annual NJSO solo appearances, Wyrick has performed as soloist with Danish Radio Orchestra, the Orchestre de Toulouse, EOS Music, the Hudson Valley Philharmonic, and the San Angelo Symphony Orchestra .He has recorded for Bridge Records, Vanguard, and, with Orpheus, has made numerous CDs for Deutsche Grammophon.
