VINCENT BELFORD Bass Trombonist with the NJSO since 1970, graduated from the Manhattan School of Music in 1965 and completed his master's degree in 1970.
He has performed with the Bolshoi Ballet, NY City Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet, Royal Ballet, Canadian Ballet, the American Symphony Orchestra, The Band Of America, Goldman Band, New York City Opera, Orchestra of Saint Luke, and the Metropolitan Opera.
Prior to joining the NJSO he was a member of The North Carolina and Mobile, Alabama Symphonies. Presently, along with the NJSO, Vincent is a member of The Long Island Philharmonic, and The Paper Mill Playhouse Orchestra as well as coaching the brass of the Greater Newark Youth Orchestra. Vincent is a resident of Warren, New Jersey, where he teaches privately.
