Take the Garden State Parkway local lanes to exit 109. If exiting from the northbound lanes, turn right after the toll onto Route 520 East.
If exiting from the southbound lanes, turn left onto Route 520 East. Continue on Route 520 East until it ends at railroad tracks. Cross the tracks and turn left, following signs for Route 35 North. Continue on Route 35 North to the second light and turn left onto Monmouth Street. Count Basie Theatre is on the left.

  On-street parking is available around the theatre. A municipal lot is located one block northeast of the theatre.
