Clinics & Masterclasses
Would you like to have NJSO musicians provide supplemental instruction and coaching to your students or music educators? NJSO musicians—many of them seasoned educators—welcome the chance to collaborate with music educators and provide students with supplemental coaching and mentoring. Offerings are customized for beginner to advanced players of all ages.
Clinics & Masterclasses are provided through the Orchestra’s REACH (Resources for Education And Community Harmony) program. For more information and to schedule master classes or clinics for your students, please contact Terri Campbell at [email protected] or 973.735.1717.
“[The musician’s] calm and reassuring tone is helpful to making the kids feel comfortable trying something new. The air flow exercises are great and the whole trumpet section sounds better!”
– Band Director, New Brunswick Middle School, New Brunswick, NJ
“It made my day to hear the musicians perform and interact with my band. It was such a positive experience that I hope to bring back every year.”

“Thank you for the wonderful rehearsal experience. The students thoroughly enjoyed the time hearing such amazing violin playing. Your instruction was also greatly appreciated and worked well with what the conductor has emphasized all year.”

“Thank you for the wonderful ‘All Around the World’ program and for rehearsing with my bands. The band students and I had a wonderful time listening to your suggestions. Our concert went off without a hitch!”
