The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra provides fun, interactive programs that educate and inspire the whole family. Below are just a few ways for families and kids to experience the magic of live music.
The young and the young-at-heart will enjoy discovering the instruments of the orchestra, great stories told through music and rich orchestral repertoire featured in this magical and interactive series for ages 5–12.
High-school and college music students learn how professional musicians prepare for a performance with a behind-the-scenes look at the rehearsal process. Students will experience the creative “dance” between conductor and orchestra—the critical process behind the final concert product.

A core offering of its REACH chamber music program, the NJSO Autism Community Program brings the musical magic of the orchestra to children and adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
