About the Community Partners Concert The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra’s Community Partners Concert was created in 1995 as a unique fundraising partnership for non-profit organizations serving the Greater Newark area. The first twelve concerts have raised over $700,000 for more than 80 community partners. These concerts have also reached over 25,000 residents of Essex, Hudson, and Union counties.
