Watch NJSO CHAMPS student musicians in action

Aug 17, 2015

The students of NJSO CHAMPS (Character, Achievement and Music Project)—the NJSO’s El Sistema-inspired music-instruction program, presented at University Heights Charter School in Newark—have had a big year.

From school concerts to learning and performing improvisation to meeting violin superstar Sarah Chang to joining with students from El Sistema New Jersey Alliance programs across the state for a celebratory Fiddle-and-Fa-La-La-Fest season capper, these talented young musicians continued to inspire.
