A LEGACY OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Resources for Education And Community Harmony (REACH) is a program of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra designed to bring the excitement of live music to all of New Jersey’s diverse communities. With our overall mission in mind, this program was created in 1998 to engage our communities by offering original programs created by and featuring members of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. Ensembles have performed throughout all 21 New Jersey counties in a wide variety of settings that include senior living communities, youth centers, local performing arts centers, restaurants, libraries, hospitals, schools, social and cultural clubs, private homes and more!

Musicians of the NJSO can perform right in your own neighborhood. To begin the booking process, simply choose the program that best suits your interests. Not sure which one to choose? Call us and we’ll help select the perfect match or create an original program just for you. Then we can choose a performance date together or you can call with a date in mind to make the scheduling process quick and easy.

| ACCESSIBILE AND FLEXIBLE
The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra forms active partnerships in the community by presenting REACH programs in collaboration with sponsoring organizations. Presenting organizations provide valuable input that helps the musicians and staff tailor a program to meet that community’s specific interests and needs. Each REACH event is underwritten by the presenter but the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra offers a limited number of discounts to schools and other non-profit organizations to help keep REACH affordable.
REACH programs include educational assemblies and performances, chamber music recitals, hospital visits, lecture-demonstrations, coaching sessions, sectionals and master classes, employee training sessions, fundraising concerts, civic celebrations, and more.
