Each season, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra holds several special events and fundraisers that raise more than $900,000 for our artistic, education and community engagement programs. Click on each of the events below for more information.

Art Strings combines the visual and performing arts to raise funds for the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra’s extensive music education and community engagement programs.

The NJSO welcomed its 14th Music Director, Xian Zhang with an amazing concert featuring Beethoven, Strauss and Haydn along with a beautiful gala honoring her new role.
The NJSO honored Ralph Izzo, Chairman, President and CEO of PSEG, and Ruth Lipper and Stephen Sichak, outgoing NJSO Board Co-Chairs, with an elegant evening at NJPAC in April 2016.
The 2016 auction closed for bidding on April 16. We look forward to next year’s auction, which will open in April 2017.
NJSO patrons traveled to the Tanglewood Music Festival in Lenox, MA to see Jacques Lacombe conduct the Boston Symphony Orchestra on the festival’s Opening Weekend in July 2016. We also visited local attractions and restaurants during this all-inclusive weekend.
More than 100 guests welcomed summer at a June 2016 wine tasting event held on the picturesque grounds of Locust Hill Vineyard in Red Bank.
More than 80 commissioners supported the March 2015 premiere of Darryl Kubian’s O For A Muse of Fire by participating in this exciting project.
