Teen Connect
Calling local teens who play music of all kinds in orchestras, bands and small ensembles! Come connect with your peers and the New Jersey Symphony pros.
Teen Connect is a discount ticket program that makes it easier than ever for teen musicians in grades 8–12 to meet up at a New Jersey Symphony concert. Priced at $10/ticket for teens and their adult chaperones, the concertgoing experience includes a special pre-concert meet-and-greet with New Jersey Symphony musicians. Teens can find out about the music-making process behind the concert they’re about to hear, swap stories with the professionals about tackling a new piece of new music, their favorite approach to practicing, their preferred way to quiet the pre-performance jitters and more!
As they experience the concert, teens are invited to follow along with a cool listening guide, actively tracking pro tips and techniques they can apply to their own music-making. All teens who follow the listening guide and turn it in at the end of the concert will be eligible for special prizes!
