Concert Information
Be inspired by tomorrow’s stars as hotshot soloists Rubén Rengel and Nygel Witherspoon join forces with the full power of the NJSO. In this lively and interactive concert, we’ll explore the glorious qualities of the violin and cello while meeting two young artists who are redefining classical music for the 21st century.
Hear stories of their life in music while reveling in the introspection of Fauré’s Élégie, the dazzling fireworks of Tchaikovsky’s Valse-Scherzo and the power of both soloists combined in a selection from Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante.
This concert is part of the NJSO’s ongoing partnership with the Sphinx Organization—a social justice organization dedicated to transforming lives through the power of diversity in the arts.
