Broadcast | Xian Conducts Pines of Rome and Fountains of Rome

“Xian Zhang burst onto the stage like a firecracker.” So wrote The Star-Ledger in its review of Xian Zhang’s 2010 New Jersey Symphony debut conducting Respighi’s Pines of Rome. As music director, Zhang returned to the work in the 2018 Winter Festival, “America, Inspiring.” The program also featured the New Jersey Symphony debut of George Li in Prokofiev’s Third Piano Concerto.
