Each season, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra holds several special events and fundraisers that raise more than $900,000 for our artistic, education and community engagement programs. Click on each of the events below for more information.
DONOR APPRECIATION EVENTS
July 2017 through June 2018
Donors who give $100 or more to the Annual Fund are invited to many great events, including Open Rehearsals. Event dates for the 2017–18 season will be announced in August.
October 7, 2017 | Join us in celebrating the start of Xian Zhang’s spellbinding second season as Music Director of the NJSO at the Opening Night Celebration! The enchanted night includes a cocktail party with bountiful hors d’ oeuvres and open bar before the concert. An exquisite dinner follows the performance, with opportunities to meet and mingle with Zhang, musicians and special guests.
April 22, 2017 | The NJSO honored Robert C. Garrett, NJSO Trustee and Co-CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health on April 22, 2017. The evening featured a concert that showcasing the most memorable music collaborations of the incomparable Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.

RAFFLES AND AUCTIONS
Drawing: June 26, 2017 | Art Strings combines the visual and performing arts to raise funds for the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra’s extensive music education and community engagement programs.

August 4–6, 2017 | Travel with the NJSO to Tanglewood, where you’ll hear the Boston Symphony Orchestra performing Chopin, Rachmaninoff and Mendelssohn with conductor Hans Graf and pianist Garrick Ohlsson. Take in the sights of the beautiful Berkshires and visit attractions such as the Norman Rockwell Museum during an all-inclusive weekend.
Amadeus Circle Travel Program
Members of the NJSO Amadeus Circle have the opportunity to attend special trips. Travel the world as a group of friends (or make new friends!) and experience fine dining, interesting tours and marvelous concerts.
