Special Events & Fundraisers
Each season, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra holds several special events and fundraisers that raise more than $900,000 for our artistic, education and community engagement programs. Click on each of the events below for more information.
July 2017 through June 2018
Your Annual Fund donation of $100 or more gives you access to many great events, including Open Rehearsals.
October 7, 2017 | Nearly 300 guests helped the NJSO celebrate the start of Xian Zhang’s spellbinding second season as Music Director of the NJSO at the Opening Night Celebration! The enchanted night included a cocktail party before the concert and an exquisite dinner following the performance, along with opportunities to meet and mingle with Zhang, musicians and special guests.
April 14, 2018 | Join us at the annual spring benefit gala and enjoy an evening of music, laughter and fun. The event features a performance by Jason Alexander, a Tony Award-winning Broadway song-and-dance man. His concert with the NJSO brings a hilarious re-telling of his journey to and on the Broadway stage and features a program of great music from the theater along with comedy and audience interaction.
