National Night Out is a national campaign promoting increased community partnerships with local law enforcement agencies. Stop by Mildred Helms Park in Newark to meet musicians from your New Jersey Symphony and visit our Instrument Discovery Zone to try out an instrument for yourself!

The New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players present Strings by the Sea: Pops and Broadway. A mix of popular and favorite songs from Broadway shows to KPop Demon Hunters, this presentation is sure to delight! Bring your beach chairs and blankets to Surfside Park. In case of inclement weather, the event will move inside Community Hall. This event is presented in partnership with Avalon Free Public Library.

The New Jersey Symphony and Newark Public Libraries present a children’s program titled “Unearth a Story”. This program presents the wonderful stories that come from reading and explores how music can help bring those stories to life with interactive storytelling.
