The Newark Museum of Art Summer Series

The New Jersey Symphony presents delightfully eclectic and crowd-pleasing chamber performances in partnership with The Newark Museum of Art!

This summer, the New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players return to The Newark Museum of Art for a series of delightfully eclectic and crowd-pleasing performances at the Alice Ransom Dreyfuss Memorial Garden. Principal Bassoonist Robert Wagner, Principal Bassist Ha Young Jung and Resident Artistic Catalyst Daniel Bernard Roumain will curate these performances with a wide range of classic and modern composers in an elegant summertime setting. With works from composers like Johann Nepomuk Hummel, Florence Price, Johann Sebastian Bach and DBR himself, these concerts will bring a fresh and exciting sound to your summer.

The New Jersey Symphony is proud to collaborate again this season with The Newark Museum of Art. We look forward to seeing you for an all-new lineup of great performances in the garden. It’ll be an experience you won’t want to miss!

The NMOA Summer Series is a partnership between The Newark Museum of Art & New Jersey Symphony. Events take place outdoors in The Newark Museum of Art’s Alice Ransom Dreyfuss Memorial Garden.
