New Jersey Symphony at STEAM Around the Square
Newark Museum of Art (49 Washington Street) and The Pillars (33 Washington Street) in Newark
12 pm–2:30 pm: Good Vibrations/Instrument Discovery Zone inside The Newark Museum of Art
1:30 pm–2:00 pm and 2:30 pm–3:00 pm: Viral Virtuosos performances at The Pillars.

Join your New Jersey Symphony on Washington Street for the third annual STEAM Around the Square event, a fun-filled day of games, performances, and activities celebrating science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Kids will be wowed by hands-on experiments and fun learning opportunities. This year will be a block party on Washington Street with partners from fellow Newark organizations.
This event is created in collaboration with the City of Newark, the Newark City Parks Foundation, Audible, The Newark Museum of Art, the Newark Public Library, and the Newark Arts & Education District.

The New Jersey Symphony’s appearance at this event is supported by the TD Charitable Foundation and the Horizon Foundation of New Jersey.

Patriotic Favorites with the New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players
Clifton Arts Center (900 Clifton Avenue) in Clifton

Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with an unforgettable evening of music at the Clifton Arts Center! The New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players present Patriotic Favorites—a spirited string quartet performance that honors our nation’s rich musical heritage with brilliance, warmth, and jubilant fanfare. Following the performance, guests are invited to a festive reception. Enjoy light refreshments, mingle with the musicians, and explore original artwork on display by the Clifton Association of Artists, all within the Arts Center’s beautiful gallery setting.
- $30 per person or $25 per person for groups of 5 or more
- $10 per child under 12
