New Jersey Symphony Outdoors: 38th Giralda Music & Arts Festival
José Luis Domínguez conductor
Timothy Shi violin
New Jersey Symphony
Enjoy the sounds of your New Jersey Symphony under the stars! The program features a medley of timeless classics from Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music, Sousa’s ode to his time in New Jersey in “The Atlantic City Pageant March” and so much more. An inspiring performance by Timothy Shi, winner of the New Jersey Symphony Youth Orchestra’s Henry Lewis Concerto Competition, rounds out this concert of favorites the whole family will love.
Enjoy the beauty of a performance by the New Jersey Symphony while relaxing on the lush grounds of the Giralda Farms Corporate Park (the former Dodge Estate). There will be plenty to see and do, with children’s activities and an art show and sale. Morris Arts’ traditional creative picnic contest will return with prizes awarded to the most inventive picnics that day. This will mark Morris Arts’ 38th Giralda Music & Arts Festival—a much-treasured tradition in the area.
