An atmosphere of excitement and anticipation filled the New Jersey Performing Arts Center as guests gathered for the Symphony’s Season Opening Celebration—an afternoon that marked the beginning of a new season with brilliance, artistry, and unforgettable music. The day became truly extraordinary with the appearance of world-renowned soprano Renée Fleming, whose luminous voice and commanding presence brought exceptional depth and emotion to the stage. Paired with the New Jersey Symphony under the inspired leadership of Music Director Xian Zhang, every performance captured the power of live music to stir the soul.
The celebration started with an elegant pre-concert reception where guests, supporters, and longtime friends of the Symphony came together in the spirit of community. It was a privilege to launch the season with such distinguished company and to honor the collective passion that fuels the Symphony’s artistic mission.
