The Joni Rose Gallery will host the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra’s Art Strings fundraiser on Thursday, April 4, as part of the opening of its newest exhibit, “Lyrical Paintings” by Joni Rose. Please be sure to stop by to view this year’s fabulous collection of painted violins and support the NJSO and an outstanding local art gallery! Not only can you view original artwork, but you can also purchase raffle tickets to win one of the Art Strings violins.

The “Lyrical Paintings” exhibit, which emphasizes the colors found in landscapes and flowers, was inspired by musical works from the NJSO’s 2012–13 season.

The impact these painted violins can have extends beyond the beauty of the artwork. Since its inception in 2001, Art Strings has raised more than $125,000 in support of the NJSO’s lauded education and enrichment programs. Art Strings has also helped fulfill a key part of the Orchestra’s mission—to reach communities throughout the state of New Jersey.

The NJSO is proud to partner with the Joni Rose Gallery for this event. Artist Joni Rose opened Joni Rose Gallery in the MONDO building in Summit in 2012 and has quickly become an anchor attraction. Painting has always been an expression of her heart and her intention is to paint the beauty of the world in which we live.
