Drumthwacket Day Trip on Dec 10

Holidays in Princeton

Wednesday, December 10, 2014

Join fellow NJSO patrons as we travel to Princeton to celebrate the holiday season. The day will start with a one-hour open house tour of Drumthwacket, the governor’s official residence. Each holiday season, garden clubs around the state decorate this grand and historic mansion. This year, the Drumthwacket Foundation has partnered with the NJSO, New Jersey Ballet, New Jersey Theatre Alliance and New Jersey Garden Club to present “A Fantasy through the Arts.” Each arts group has collaborated with a garden club to decorate themed rooms at the mansion.

Following the tour, we will dine at Agricola Community Eatery, a farm-to-table restaurant that was named a Top 25 Restaurant by New Jersey Monthly in 2013 and 2014, and one of nj.com’s 30 Best Meals in 2014. After lunch, enjoy free time to stroll through Palmer Square’s collection of boutiques and brand-name stores, or take in the charming sights of downtown Princeton.

Package Price:  $100 per person
Includes park & ride transportation, admission to the mansion, lunch and gratuities.

Attend the mansion tour and lunch, but provide your own transportation, for $65 per person.
