Fiddle-and-Fa-La-La-Fest showcases talented students across NJ

Students from El Sistema-inspired music-instruction programs across New Jersey gave a special performance on Saturday, June 7 at NJPAC in Newark. The students of NJSO CHAMPS (Character, Achievement and Music Project) performed with young musicians from the Paterson Music Project, Sonic Expressions and Union City Music Project.
Fiddle-and-Fa-La-La-Fest showcased each program, then united all of the talented performers for the grand finale—a mashup of Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds” and Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” that inspired families and audience members to sing along.
