WWFM The Classical Network airs an NJSO performance of Mozart’s Requiem tonight, June 1, at 8 pm on 89.1 FM and wwfm.org. Music Director Xian Zhang leads the NJSO, Montclair State University Singers and a quartet of vocal soloists in the epic masterwork, recorded at NJPAC in Newark in March.
NJ Advance Media praised the NJSO’s Requiem performances, calling the “Lacrimosa” nearly flawless and writing that “the symphonic and the vocal meshed together so that the best of each element could be heard in full.”
