New Jersey Symphony honors healthcare workers and patients with Gratitude Performances
Kicking off during the month of May, musicians of the New Jersey Symphony once again held their annual Gratitude Performances, bringing the power of classical music to hospitals, nursing facilities and other healthcare settings in honor of those who care for those in need. Supported via a grant from Johnson & Johnson, the series is in its fifth year and continues to bring access to classical music to everyday caregivers and patients. These performances have been lauded by healthcare professionals and industry leaders in the state, as noted by Dean Nickitas of the Rutgers–Camden School of Nursing.
