FROM THE STAGE

“To me, the story of this concert was the energy in the hall. I was in the lobby chatting with patrons (as part of the NJSO’s Ask a Musician) at intermission. The audience loved the program, and their enthusiasm and excitement for being a part of something special was very obvious. I spoke with a high-school student and his father, who told me it was their first time coming to an NJSO concert, and they plan to come back—as a musician, that’s the best thing we can hear.”
Brett Deubner, viola
