The New Jersey Symphony deliver ‘real magic’ with a thrilling performance of Disney’s Fantasia in Concert
The New Jersey Symphony gave three stunning performances of Disney’s Fantasia in Concert, a longtime Disney favorite featuring various segments from the original 1940 film and Fantasia 2000, October 23–26 in Morristown, Red Bank and New Brunswick. James C. Taylor of NJ Advance Media reviewed the performance in Red Bank.
It’s a reminder that “Fantasia,” like all classical music, isn’t stuck in the past. It’s about preserving the past but also reimagining it anew in the present. “Fantasia in Concert,” showcases this masterfully, which is why the audience was filled with people of all ages, laughing and applauding together.
