The New Jersey Symphony perform a lively rendition of Mozart’s Requiem with vocal soloists and the Montclair State University Chorale
Music Director Xian Zhang led the way for the New Jersey Symphony as they gave three performances of Mozart’s Requiem with soloists Mei Gui Zhang, Taylor Raven, Eric Ferring and Dashon Burton along with the Montclair State University Chorale in a program that also included Fauré’s Pavane featuring the MSU Chorale and Mahler’s Songs of a Wayfarer with Dashon Burton performing solo vocals. James C. Taylor of NJ Advance Media reviewed the performance in New Brunswick.
All three works on the program also shared something more lively: their main instrument is the human voice.
