Lawrence Loh joined the New Jersey Symphony to conduct How to Train Your Dragon in Concert in Morristown, New Brunswick and Newark from July 11–13 as part of the Symphony’s slate of summer concerts. James C. Taylor of NJ Advance Media was at NJPAC to review the Sunday performance.
Like Loh, this marked the first time the NJS has performed his music. These concerts were a fun addition to the NJS summer season, both Loh and one of Powell’s scores from one of the “HTTYD” sequels would be a welcome return in future seasons.
