NJSO Youth Orchestras, CHAMPS give spring performances

Students in the NJSO's education programs have given triumphant season-ending performances this month.

The NJSO Youth Orchestras capped their 25th anniversary season with a special showcase performance at NJPAC in Newark on Saturday, May 14. The concert closed a milestone year that saw the two of the program's ensembles make their Carnegie Hall debuts.

NJSO CHAMPS gave its spring performance at Bethany Baptist Church in Newark on Wednesday, May 18.

CHAMPS then joined its sister programs in the El Sistema New Jersey Alliance for the annual Fiddle-and-Fa-La-La-Fest at NJPAC on Saturday, May 21.
