Summer with the Symphony
Bring your family and friends and celebrate the spirit of summer with your New Jersey Symphony!
Join us in June for our annual performance at the Giralda Music & Arts Festival in Florham Park, which will be held this year at the Dolan Performance Hall, located inside the Annunciation Center at Saint Elizabeth University in Morristown, with tickets for the event on sale now. Watch the fireworks and fanfare as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of America’s independence with a free outdoor concert at Branch Brook Park in Newark. Finally, we will present the winning compositions from four emerging composers in the annual Edward T. Cone Composition Institute Concert on July 18 at Richardson Auditorium in Princeton, part of the 2026 Edward T. Cone Composition Institute.
We will also be debuting two new programs based in Jersey City this summer. The first will be a series of free library concerts in July and August called Symphony in the Stacks as New Jersey Symphony musicians bring stories and culture to live through music for families at select libraries across the city. The other will be the inaugural Jersey City Arts & Music Festival, taking place from September 24 through October 3 at the site of the Symphony’s future home at Provost Square Plaza, with performances and activities for you and your loved ones to enjoy and have fun. Participating libraries and dates for the Symphony in the Stacks Library Series can be viewed on the Neighborhood Concerts page, while the full programming for the Jersey City Arts & Music Festival will be announced later this summer.
Come be a part of the fun and celebrate summertime with great music and performances from your New Jersey Symphony!
