Our Commitment to You
New Jersey Symphony Orchestra donors, subscribers and concertgoers have been the foundation of the NJSO since 1922—almost 100 years. We would not exist today without your generous support.
During these uncertain times, we would like to confirm our commitment to all patrons that we are here for you and will provide you the best in customer service. Your confidence in the NJSO and generous support are what will allow the NJSO to survive and to return to stages across New Jersey, sharing live classical music performances with you.
Please know that we are committed to meeting your needs, including:
- The safety of our patrons, musicians and staff is our most important priority. We will not resume live concerts until it is safe to do so, and we will accommodate any patron who feels they are not able to safely return when concerts resume.
- If an event needs to be postponed, rescheduled or canceled, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide detailed information with multiple flexible ticket options, including ticket exchanges, account credits, ticket donations or refunds for canceled performances.
- We are continuing our mission by providing the entire New Jersey community new content and experiences through NJSO Virtual 20–21. This new digital season includes dynamic virtual concerts, artistic collaborations and the continuation of our NJSO at Home features.
The NJSO has been a leader in the New Jersey arts community in regard to its response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We were the first major New Jersey arts organization to cancel performances out of concern for the safety of our patrons, musicians and staff. We will continue to make the best-informed decisions that we can, and we will work to accommodate all patrons in any way.
We look forward to the day when we can—once again—share the power of live music with you. Until that time, stay safe and healthy.
