Theo Bockhorst

Theo Bockhorst comes from St. Louis, Missouri, and is currently in his first year of masters at Juilliard where he studies with Joel Smirnoff. He recently completed his undergraduate studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he studied with Jaime Laredo, Malcolm Lowe and Jan Sloman.

Theo has enjoyed playing as soloist with many St. Louis area orchestras, including a performance with the St. Louis Symphony during their 2017 season opener. He equally enjoys playing as an orchestral musician, having served as the Associate Concertmaster of the Akron Symphony for two years.

Outside of music, Theo enjoys watching football and baseball, learning about geography, and most of all, competitive birdwatching.
