The Star-Ledger names the NJSO’s concerts featuring Grieg’s Piano Concerto—and the Orchestra’s second College Night of the season on March 2—among the “Top 5 NJ shows this week”:
New Jersey Symphony Orchestra College Night – The NJSO offers $10 student tickets on Sunday at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center to a program of classics that includes Grieg’s dramatic, tuneful Piano Concerto, Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8 and Sibelius’ “Spring Song.” Guest conductor Santtu-Matias Rouvali leads the orchestra, with soloist Xiaohui Yang. Additional performances take place Thursday at bergenPAC in Englewood and Saturday at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, njsymphony.org
