Concerts for Young People
In the 2025–26 season, the New Jersey Symphony will debut two Concerts for Young People programs that support and enhance classroom learning. These programs are aligned with New Jersey State Standards and created specifically for students in grades 3–5. Each program features an engaging host and an interactive performance experience. Teachers receive a comprehensive learning package that includes classroom resources, audio clips, presentation slides, and other materials to supplement instruction before and after the concert.
We are proud to partner with leading New Jersey arts organizations to bring these exciting performances to life:
- Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky The Sleeping Beauty (Presented in collaboration with New Jersey Ballet)
- Thursday, March 19 at 10 am | Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown
- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart The Magic Flute (Presented in collaboration with Undead Arts)
- Wednesday, March 18 at 10 am | Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway
- Thursday, March 19 at 10 am | Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood
- Tuesday, March 24 at 10 am | New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark
Cost: $10 per patron.
